These terms cover your use of this website and the course material published on it. They are written to be read, so they are short and in plain English.
These terms are published in draft while the platform is being built, and the entity details below are still being finalised. Free accounts are open and nothing on this site takes payment. This page will be reviewed and dated again when the details are settled, and anyone who has given us an email address will be told before anything here changes in a way that affects them.
Who runs this site

What you may do with the course material
The lessons, labs, templates and written material on this site are free to use for your own work and for the work of the organisation that employs you. You may run the labs on your own data, adapt the templates, and keep and use whatever you build. You do not owe us anything for it and you do not need to credit us.
What you may not do is republish the material as your own, sell it, or use it as the content of a competing course or training programme. The line is between using what you learn and redistributing what we wrote.
What you build is yours
Every course asks you to work against your own data, in your own tools. We claim no ownership of your data, your workflow, or anything you build during a course, and we do not need a copy of any of it to teach you.
Accounts
Module 1 of every course is open with no account. An account exists so that your progress and your written work are still there when you come back, and it is free. You are responsible for keeping your own sign-in details to yourself, and for what happens under your account.
You can close your account at any time by writing to [contact email]. We will delete it and the work stored against it.
What we do not promise
The courses teach a method and a set of tools. They do not promise a job, a salary, a business result, or that any particular AI system will behave a particular way on your data. Where a course asks you to measure something, the number you get is yours and we make no claim about what it will be.
The AI tools the labs use are third-party services that change, and sometimes get things wrong. Check what they produce before you put it in front of a customer or a regulator. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical or safety advice, and the compliance course in particular is a course about writing a policy, not a substitute for your own legal counsel.
The site itself
We may change, add to, or withdraw course material, and we may take the site down for maintenance. We try not to break things people are part-way through, but this is a free service and we cannot guarantee it is always available.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or the material on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [governing law], and any dispute goes to the courts there.
